Ben Rhodes - Keyboards, synths

Ben started tinkering on the family piano in grade school after hearing a spiritual number in music appreciation class.

After cruising the talent show circuit in high school, Ben contemplated a career in music and proceeded to head off to the University of Kansas. While in Lawrence, Ben performed with such local bands as The Source and Altered Media. It was during this time that Ben gained a more thorough understanding and appreciation of music and the business in general.

Ben left KU and the Lawrence music scene and headed to Boulder, Colorado, where he finished his schooling at the Naropa Institute. While studying music at Naropa, Ben scored the theme for a Wichita, Kansas ABC local news program.

Upon graduation from college, Ben briefly performed in the band Change, then spent the next couple of years studying sound engineering and recording solo projects.

Eager to rejoin the music scene as a performer, Ben joined Pooka Stomp, an eclectic, free-spirited unit based in Nederland, Colorado, and performed with the band for a couple of years before finally meeting up with drummer Dave Mason. Ben and Dave, along with Change's ex-guitarist, formed Critical Bill, which would ultimately morph into Antihero as a couple of other musicians joined the fold.

Today, Ben can be seen and heard creating his music on stage with Ebeneezer.
